Well, we’re coming to the end of January and I can hardly wait! Not that I’m terribly attached to February or anything, but it means another month of winter behind us, and another month closer to warmer weather!
I guess there’s a lot to be “counting-down” to this time of year… We’ve got the Super Bowl coming up very soon. That will be on Channel 6 in HD! I am cheering for the Colts. I hope I don’t offend any Chicago fans, but I like Peyton Manning… He’s cute! 
As I’m sure many women are, I’m also anxiously awaiting Valentine’s Day. It’ll be my first Valentine’s Day with my husband since we’ve been married… So, honey, you better make it good! I love all the cute pink and red stuffed animals that they have in the stores this time of year. They are so cute! Every time we’re shopping, I make sure and point out my favorites to my husband; you know, just so he doesn’t forget! I’m sure it’ll be a great Valentine’s Day, although my hubby proposed last year on Valentine’s, so I’m not quite sure he can out-do himself this year!
Speaking of proposals, something else to look forward to in the coming month is the Bridal Fair! It’s going to be held at the Southern Hills Marriott here in Tulsa on February 17th. What girl doesn’t love browsing through wedding stuff!? My wedding is six months behind me and I still love looking at wedding dresses! If you want to stop by, Jennifer and Omar will be emceeing the fashion shows and you can catch me at the News On 6 booth… or browsing around tasting all the fabulous wedding cakes!! If you’re getting married anytime soon, you’ll find everything you need under one roof! Hmmm… I wonder if they have any ideas for a newly married woman to wear her wedding dress again?
